Trading across the equity, equity derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments will remain unavailable on October 24, and resume the next day.

Similarly, the equity market will observe two holidays in November. These are: Diwali and Guru Nanak Jayanti.

Diwali Balipratipada: Tuesday, November 14
Guru Nanak Jayanti: Monday, November 27

The exchanges will conduct a special, one-hour-long ‘muhurat’ trading session on November 12. The exchanges are yet to announce the schedule of muhurat trading.

The equity market will observe one holiday in December, on Christmas, December 25.

The domestic equity market will remain closed for a total of 3 days in the upcoming days in October, including Saturday and Sunday. Stock exchanges BSE and NSE remained closed on October 2 for Gandhi Jayanti.
