TCS buyback date, TCS buyback record date, TCS share price NSE: Shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)—the country’s largest IT services company—declined as much as 0.5 per cent to touch the day's low of Rs 3,491 on the NSE on Friday, November 24, as the counter traded ex-date for the buyback programme via the tender offer route. At the time of writing this report, the stock traded 0.19 per cent lower at Rs 3,501.45 on the NSE in the early deals.

The IT major's board earlier gave a nod to buy back up to 4,09,63,855 equity shares of the company for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs 17,000 crore, representing 1.12 per cent, of the total paid-up equity share capital, at Rs 4,150 apiece in a meeting held on October 11.
