TCS board to consider dividend, Q3 results today; here’s all you need to know

TCS dividend record date, TCS board meeting today: Tata Consultancy Services’ board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, January 11, to consider an interim dividend for the current financial year along with its quarterly results for the October-December period. A TCS dividend, if declared, will be the third interim payout by the country’s largest IT firm for the year ending March 31, 2024. TCS shares traded flat at Rs 3,714.7 apiece on NSE at the last count in morning deals. 

TCS dividend record date

Earlier, TCS, the Tata group giant which is the country’s second most valuable firm, fixed January 19 as the record date for any such dividend. 

"The third interim dividend, if declared, shall be paid to the equity shareholders of the Company whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of the Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Friday, January 19, 2024, which is the Record Date fixed for the purpose," TCS said in a regulatory filing dated December 29.

In the past 12 months, Tata Consultancy Services has declared an equity dividend amounting to Rs 117 per share, according to stock research portal Trendlyne.

TCS Q3 result preview 

According to Zee Business research, TCS is likely to register a 0.3 per cent sequential increase in revenue to Rs 59,900 crore for the quarter ended December.
