7th Pay Commission latest news: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for direct recruitment at the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). The total number of vacancies notified in this UPSC job notification is 421. Post notified in this job notification are Enforcement Officer and Accounts Officers at the EPFO. Selected candidates will be given a Level-8 pay scale under the 7th CPC pay matrix. As per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level-8 employee will get a salary from Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100 means after selection, the candidate will get a starting salary of Rs 47,600 plus Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances. Out of 421 vacancies, 11 vacancies are reserved for the physically challenged applicants. Out of these 11 vacancies reserved for physically challenged applicants, eight vacancies are reserved for the deaf and hearing-disabled applicants while rest 3 will be reserved for the applicants with a locomotor disability with cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy with disability.

As per the UPSC notification available on upsc.gov.in, out of 421 vacancies, 168 vacancies are reserved for the General or UR category students. 116 vacancies are reserved for OBC applicants, 62 seats are reserved for the SC candidates, 33 seats are for ST candidates and 42 vacancies have been kept reserved for the EWS candidates.
