Check the 4 ways to avoid cyber attack here:
1. Look before clicking: Links from unknown sources may contain malware/virus which can compromise your personal information. Be cautious while clicking on them.
2. Nothing comes for free: Don't get carried away with offers, prizes, lotteries and lucky draws as they make for a great way to dupe people.
3. Beware of malicious attachments: Verify the source of your emails before clicking on attachments. Malicious software can lock the contents of your computer and demand ransom.
4. Conquer supply chain attackers: Check credentials of service providers before allowing your access to the system for trouble shooting.
It can be noted that this is not the first time the bank is sharing tips to avoid cyber fraud. Other than PNB, State Bank of India, Reserve bank of India and other banks have also been raising awareness about the same.
Earlier on October 31, PNB had advised its customers to keep their eyes and ears open and stay vigilant.
All you have to do - is to keep your eyes & ears open and stay vigilant.
