Fixed Deposits: RBI keeps repo rate unchanged, here’s how it may impact bank FD rates
Interest rates on bank fixed deposits (FDs) have increased significantly in recent months. As the RBI has kept the repo rate unchanged, the banks are unlikely to further revise the FD rates. In recent months, a few banks have also started reducing FD rates, according to reports.
With every change in repo rate by RBI the banks revise the interest rates on loans and other savings instruments, including FDs.
