The PIB fact check, a government agency that identifies fake news, has certified that the schemes listed below are false. Here are the four schemes, each of which has a poster or video circulating on social media with PM Modi's photo for authentication.
Fact Check: The government keeps on bringing new programs and yojanas for the benefits of citizens. Many of these schemes benefit a large number of poor and needy population of the country. However, you may have experienced that despite registering in a particular scheme, you did not receive the benefits of that scheme. This is because various fake schemes are running in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media platforms, with the sole purpose of defrauding people.
