LPG price today: Good news! Prices slashed; check new rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai

In good news, the Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have slashed the prices of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders across metros, effective today, October 1.

In good news, the Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have slashed the prices of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders across metros, effective today, October 1. As per the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) website, the prices of commercial LPG cylinder have been slashed up to Rs 37.50 per unit.

With the latest revision in prices, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,859, instead of Rs1,885 in Delhi. Likewise, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,959 instead of Rs 1,995.50 in Kolkta; Rs 1,811.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2,009.50 in Chennai.

It is to be noted that prices of domestic cooking gas remain unchanged.

The prices of a 14.2-kg domestic cylinder were last raised by Rs 50 per cylinder on July 6.

Currently, the price of one cylinder in the national capital stands at Rs 1053 per cylinder.
