Malware phishing: Save money from bank frauds! Ignore these emails from 419 Nigerian fraudsters

Malware phishing: 419 Nigerian fraud is a kind of bank fraud in which bank fraudsters send an e-mail with luring offers. It also gives access to your debit and credit card.

Malware phishing: These days, emails coming in from unknown sources with luring offers have become a common phenomenon. People know that such offers are 'too good to be true' but they can't carve themselves away from clicking on that mail. Once they click on such mails, they lose their hard-earned money into the hands of bank fraudsters who are expert in 419 Nigerian malware phishing. Senders of such emails initially ask for some details and once you start communicating with them they ask for some advance payment in the name of processing fee as a clause before crediting a huge amount in your bank account. The details such mail sender ask can be your date of birth, bank account number, Aadhaar card number that is more than enough to fish out money form anybody's account.

Speaking on such malware phishing that leads to bank frauds Pavan Duggal, a Delhi-based cybercrime expert said, "419 Nigerian fraud is a kind of malware phishing in which bank fraudsters send an e-mail with luring offers which is hard to believe. Once, a receiver responds to their mail by clicking on them, the sender gets an alert, and then the sender would ask for some details like your name, your bank account number, your date of birth, which is enough to fish out money from one's bank account."

On how do 419 Nigerian fraudsters execute their malware phishing fraud and its category Duggal said, "When the e-mail receiver clicks on the received mail, the malware begins to install on one's system fishing out entire details like a bank account, Aadhaar card, PAN card or any other economic data. They can even access your bank debit and credit card. So, even if one doesn't share its details with the sender, he or she is bound to face bank fraud through malware phishing by 419 Nigerian fraudsters."

Duggal went on to add that in 419 Nigerian Fraud, senders of the e-mail ask for advance payment as processing fee that's why it is also known as 'advance fee fraud.' But, for that as well, e-mail sender asks the receiver to click on the link given for payment and fish out data through malware phishing. On how to avoid such 419 Nigerian malware phishing Duggal suggested that people should install anti-malware software on their desktop and android phones. It is available in google free of cost.
