SBI Alert Number: State Bank of India (SBI) customers can check their account balance, mini statement through numerous methods. SBI Balance Enquiry and mini statement can be accessed through mobile banking, net banking, ATM, branch visit, SMS banking (SBI Quick), etc. One can opt for any one of the following methods for the SBI balance check. However, SBI SMS Banking is another option that an SBI customer can think of opting while trying to find out the SBI account balance or SBI account mini statement.

SBI customers can use the SMS banking services provided by the bank to check their SBI account balance or receive a mini-statement. All they need to do is give a missed call or send an SMS from their registered mobile number on the SBI balance inquiry toll-free number 09223766666. In a few seconds, they will receive their balance details on their phone. One can get his or her SBI account balance through a missed call at the SBI toll-free number 09223866666 as well.

To get the SBI account balance through SMS service, the SBI account holder needs to send an SMS with text message 'BAL' to the toll-free number 09223766666. For SBI account mini statement through SMS Service, the SBI account holder needs to snd an SMS writing 'MSTMT' and send the message to the toll-free number 09223766666.

However, to avail the SBI SMS Service, SBI customers must have their mobile number registered with SBI account. If there is a change in the mobile phone number, they can get their new mobile phone registered through the SBI SMS Service as well. What they need is to send an SMS from the same mobile number at toll-free number 09223488888. The format of the message text is “REG<space>Account Number." SBI will send a registration confirmation message. Customers can now use this service to check the SBI account balance, mini statement, cheque book request, e-statement, education loan interest certificate and home loan interest certificate.
