WhatsApp smartwatch app now available on Wear OS - Details
Available on watches that run Wear OS 3, this will allow users to respond to friends and family using their voice, emojis, quick replies or text.
After months of speculations, Meta has finally announced the first WhatsApp smartwatch app. The announcement was made by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday. With this, users will be able to receive messages, start conversations and make calls from their wristwatches - running Google's Wear OS. The best part is that users will not require their connected phones with them in order to use these features.

The company said that it would be working on bringing WhatsApp to even more devices in the future.

Earlier, WhatsApp announced a faster and more private way to transfer your WhatsApp chat history between devices on the same operating system.
More secure than using unofficial third-party apps which lack clear privacy practices, and are more private than cloud services, the transfer process is authenticated with a QR code, data is only shared between your two devices and is fully encrypted during transfer.

It’s faster than backing up and restoring your chat history and you can now also transfer large media files and attachments, which were usually too large to keep.
In order to transfer your chats, you need to make sure that you have both devices physically with you, connected to Wi-Fi and location enabled. On your old phone, go to Settings > Chats > Chat transfer and scan the QR code shown on the screen with your new phone to complete the process.
WhatsApp has more than 200 million users of WhatsApp Business app. To help them, it recently announced the ability for the user these app to create Facebook and Instagram ads that click to WhatsApp without needing a Facebook account, as well as new ways to connect with customers more efficiently.
