OnePlus Open Expected Features
According to the company, the OnePlus Open smartphone will feel just like a regular single-display phablet smartphone. Also, it comes with improved Flexion or “water-drop”-shaped, pressure-relieving hinge that involves a single-spine architecture.

The smartphone by OnePlus is going to be the first foldable smartphone that will come with Sony, the LYTIA-T808 sensor. This camera sensor boasts Sony’s "Dual-layer Transistor Pixel” technology (also known as “Pixel Stacked”) where light adsorption-retention structure was redesigned from the ground up, allowing for doubling the light captured and stored for conversion (full well capacity) despite a relative smaller sensor size.
"While the inevitable screen crease is often seen as one of the biggest drawbacks among foldable smartphones, the crease on the OnePlus Open is virtually imperceptible, allowing users to enjoy an uninterrupted Pro tablet-like experience," the company said in a release.
The smartphone comes with OnePlus’s iconic Alert Slider. Several optimizations have been made to the design and architecture of the slider to ensure it fits the new compact form without losing any of its functionality.
