Oppo Reno11 Series Launch in India: Oppo is gearing up for the launch of its next generation of smartphones under the popular Reno Series i.e. Oppo Reno 11. The company is expected to launch the smartphone this month. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone company said that the latest Reno Series will come with a 'Hypertone Imaging Engine'.
Oppo Reno 11 Series - Hypertone Imaging Engine
According to Oppo, Hypertone Imaging Engine is a proprietary colour calculation technology that uses deep pixel fusion to process lossless photos in the RAW domain.
"As a result, image details are preserved with accurate colours and an extended dynamic range for a perfect balance between light and shadows. Additionally, AI Denoise and AI Demosaic algorithms are employed to increase portrait image clarity in lighting conditions that are less than ideal," the company said.

It uses the 'Tone Mapping Control' algorithm that debugs and optimises lighting, colouring and texture for accurate results with Indian skin tones in portrait photos. Oppo said that it has developed these algorithms with feedback from an internal expert team and finetuned them in collaboration with external professionals, including renowned celebrity wedding photographer Joseph Radhik from India.
Oppo has also shared details about the main camera sensor. According to the company, it has used 50MP Sony IMX890 as the main camera in the Oppo Reno 11.
Oppo Reno 11 Series - Portrait Photography
The Portrait Mode in the Reno11 Series lets users adjust the aperture from F1.4 to F16 to control background bokeh and bokeh flare. The good thing is that the user can adjust this aperture even during post-processing. These portrait cameras are backed by the 32MP IMX709 RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, White) camera sensors. The white (W) added to each sensor increases the light intake by 60 per cent and reduces noise by 35 per cent compared to a traditional RGB lens.
Additionally, the 32MP IMX709 rear camera packs a 2x telephoto lens that shortens the distances between foreground and background in photos for more intimate compositions.
Also, the smartphone has an 8MP 112° ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX355 camera with a 1/4-inch sensor. The Reno11 Series will also come with additional shooting modes, including Night, Pano, Slo-mo, Dual-view video and Text scanner. Both - the front and rear- cameras support 4K videos at 30fps.
Oppo Reno 11 Series - Performance
The Reno11 Pro will come with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC that comprises a single 3.1GHz Arm Cortex-A78 and three 3.0GHz Arm Cortex-A78 cores.
Oppo Reno 11 Series - Battery and Charging
When it comes to battery capacity and charging, the Reno11 Pro is equipped with a 4600mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC. According to the company, the device can be charged from zero to 100 per cent in 28 minutes.
