Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A72 launched with quad-camera setup - Check price, India availability, features and other details

In its 'Galaxy Awesome Unpacked' event, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched three new Galaxy A series smartphones -- A52, A52 5G and A72 with quad-rear camera set up.

In its 'Galaxy Awesome Unpacked' event, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched three new Galaxy A series smartphones -- A52, A52 5G and A72 with quad-rear camera set up. Galaxy A series will also expand the mobile experience by providing access to the wider Galaxy ecosystem of connected devices, such as Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy SmartTag, and Galaxy Tab, the brand said during the launch.

The new Galaxy A Series with Super AMOLED display will be available in Awesome Violet, Awesome Blue, Awesome Black, and Awesome White colours. Galaxy A52 4G edition has been launched for a starting price of EUR 349 (around Rs 30,200), while the 5G model’s price starts at EUR 429 (around Rs 37,100). Samsung Galaxy A72 starts at Euro 449 (around Rs 38,800). India availability and pricing details about the new Galaxy A-series phones are yet to be revealed.

All three smartphones have a versatile quad camera with 64MP high-resolution. The users can turn their favorite moments from 4K videos into 8MP high-resolution images with 4K Video Snap tool. While Galaxy A52 has 4,500mAh battery, Galaxy A72 sports 5,000mAh battery with long-lasting capacity. The Galaxy A52 and A72 are equipped with the Galaxy essentials including stereo speakers and external memory up to 1TB.

"Also, the redesigned One UI 314 helps enable more intuitive experiences and consistent interactions by increasing speed, reducing distractions and highlighting important information," the company said. These newly launched A series smartphones will support software upgrades for three generations, and regular security updates for a minimum of four years.

"Now with 120Hz refresh rates on the Galaxy A52 5G, and 90Hz on the Galaxy A52 and A72, the scrolling experience is even smoother," the South Korean tech giant said. The display is also ‘Eye Care' certified, and automatically adjusts the display's colour temperature based on smartphone usage patterns to reduce eye fatigue with ‘Eye Comfort Shield'. All three smartphones are water and dust resistant with an IP67 rating.
