The report mentioned that Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Samsung Electronics are producing 200MP cameras in a ratio of 7 to 3.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra launch: In good news for Samsung lovers around the globe, a new report has claimed that South Korean tech giant Samsung's much-anticipated flagship smartphone Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is most likely scheduled for next year, is likely to feature a 200MP main camera.

"According to ET News, Samsung Electronics' Mobile Experience (MX) division shared confirmed information with major camera partners that it will install a 200MP camera on the Galaxy S23 recently," IANS report said. Samsung Electronics announced the details of the development and the approximate production plan and commissioned some companies to develop 200 million pixel camera parts and they initiated developing the necessary parts.

The report mentioned that Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Samsung Electronics are producing 200MP cameras in a ratio of 7 to 3. The supply chain is expected to expand to other parts suppliers when 200 million pixel cameras are applied to lower-end products. Recently, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon said the Galaxy S23 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 exclusively.

In related news, Samsung recently witnessed a robust demand for its fourth-generation of foldables in India, registering more than 50,000 pre-bookings for Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 in less than 12 hours, Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President and Head of MX sales at Samsung India, said on Wednesday. The record figures came on Day 1 of the pre-booking opening for foldables on August 16.

Available in Bora Purple, Graphite and Pink Gold colours, Galaxy Z Flip 4 is priced at Rs 89,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 94,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. The 'Bespoke Edition' that offers glass colours and frame options will be available on Samsung Live and Samsung Exclusive Stores for Rs 97,999, the company said in a statement.

Available in Graygreen, Beige and Phantom Black colours, Galaxy Z Fold 4 is priced at Rs 154,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and Rs 164,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. Consumers can also purchase 12GB+1TB variant exclusively on Samsung Live and Samsung Exclusive Stores for Rs 184,999.
