Vivo iQOO 8 Pro, iQOO 8 LAUNCH SOON: From FLAT DISPLAY to 120W fast charging - Check expected features & specs

Vivo iQOO 8 Pro, iQOO 8 launch: In good news for smartphone lovers, the smartphone brand iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, will unveil the upcoming iQOO 8 series smartphones on August 17. The upcoming iQOO 8 smartphone is likely to feature a flat display, while the iQOO 8 Pro will have a curved screen.

iQOO will ship the iQOO 8 with the Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, the more powerful version of the Snapdragon 888 that boasts higher CPU and GPU clock speeds, citing a leakster, the news agency IANS report said. The phone will also have support for 120W fast wired charging.

The IANS report mentioned that the same source had also earlier posted on Weibo that the iQOO 8 Pro will have a 6.78-inches 2K120Hz LTPO curved screen which is the new 10-bit Samsung E5 AMOLED panel. The pro model will also have a centered punch hole, DC dimming and a 517 PPI, the report said.

The report said that iQOO 8 Pro will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a 4500mAh battery, support for 120W fast wired charging and support for 50W fast wireless charging. In July, the company announced that it has sold over 25 million devices globally.

Meanwhile, the company launched all-new 'Monster Orange' color variant of the recently launched iQoo 7 series. The new energetic color is formed by combining nearly 50,000 pixels in the back panel of the new variant.

iQOO 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G Mobile Platform coupled with an Intelligent Display Chip. Supported by 66W FlashCharge technology, this smartphone reduces charging time to satisfy the fast-paced lifestyles of modern-day smartphone users. On the battery front, the iQOO 7 sports a 4400mAh battery, resulting in unrestrained device power and longevity.
