The company has officially announced to launch Vivo X60 series in India during a live virtual event. Vivo X60 series is expected to come in three variants -- Vivo X60, the Vivo X60 Pro and the Vivo X60 Pro+ in the country.
The upcoming Vivo X60 series will succeed last year’s Vivo X50 series that was appreciated for the crazy cameras it offers. In a media invite, the Chinese smartphone company today said: "Vivo cordially invites you for an exclusive unveiling & launch of vivo X60 series in India. Please join us on 25th March 2021. We shall share the live streaming link and the timings with you at the earliest. Looking forward to have you at the virtual launch."

However, India will not be the first country to get the Vivo X60 series. the Chinese smartphone brand has officially confirmed to release the smartphone in Malaysia first on March 22. The successor Vivo X50 5G features a quad rear camera setup including the 48MP primary sensor coupled with 13MP portrait lens, 8MP ultrawide lens and 5MP macro lens. The phone includes a 32MP selfie shooter. The upcoming Vivo smartphones have been teased to sport a big upgrade in terms of cameras. The company has confirmed to have partnered with Carl Zeiss optics for the X60 series, the BGR India reported.
It has been confirmed that the Vivo X60 series will sport a triple rear camera setup with Zeiss branding on top. This could be for the base Vivo X60 while the Pro model could sport a quad rear camera setup. The manufacturer has also confirmed to bring 5G support, again, it could be for the Vivo X60 Pro model, the report said.
Meanwhile, Vivo has announced it return as the title sponsors for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. After taking a break last year, the company has retained the position on the same terms as the previous deal. This association testifies Vivo’s commitment to the Indian market and the intent to provide an interactive experience to its customers, the company had said in its statement.
