Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro: The US-based tech giant Apple has announced that pre-order and delivery for its new 13-inch MacBook Pro will open on June 17 globally, including India. The 13-inch MacBook Pro is powered by the latest M2 chipset from Apple which comes with an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU.

According to the company, the all-new MacBook Air and updated 13-inch MacBook Pro will be available on apple store. They will begin arriving to customers, and will be in select Apple Authorised Resellers. Price of MacBook Air with M2 starts at Rs 1,19,900 and Rs 1,09,900 for education. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 starts at Rs 1,29,900 and Rs 1,19,900 for education.

"On Friday, June 17, at 5 a.m. PDT (5:30 pm IST) the updated 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 will be available to customers to order on apple.com, the Apple Store app, and through Apple Authorised Resellers, and will start arriving to customers worldwide on Friday, June 24," the company said.

The MacBook Pro comes with a 13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology and 2560×1600 resolution at 227 pixels and 500 nits of brightness. This one does not have a notch display like the MacBook Air. The web camera remains at 720p. The laptop does come with the Touch Bar on top and Touch ID as well.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro also gets the new M2 chipset. The second generation of the chipset provides the machine with 40 percent better performance compared to the previous version and it also supports better gaming performance, by up to 30 percent. The M2 MacBook Pro will allow up to 24GB of unified memory for better multi-tasking.
The MacBook Pro M2 has two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports with support for charging, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3 (up to 40 Gbps), USB 4 (up to 40Gbps) and USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps). There’s a headphone jack as well.
