Tim Cook may visit India to open first Apple stores in Mumbai, Delhi
Apple store near me: Apple is all set to throw open the gates of its first branded retail stores in India. Some reports suggest that Apple CEO Tim Cook is visiting India to launch Apple’s first retail stores in the country. The Cupertino-based tech giant has also that the first store will be launched in Mumbai, the financial capital of India, on April 18 and it will be known as Apple BKC. Followed by this, the tech major will open its second store in Delhi on April 20.
It is to be noted that these stores are coming up in India at a time when Apple's 'Made in India' smartphone shipments grew 65 per cent by volume and 162 per cent by value in 2022. Also, the tech major is apparently pulling out of China as India is providing more friendly local manufacturing policies.
