COVID-19 Vaccine Slot Booking on WhatsApp: The COVID-19 vaccination drive is going on across the country. Till now, people were able to book the vaccine slots at CoWIN portal or from Aarogya Setu app. In a major development, the vaccine slots can be booked on WhatsApp as well. WhatsApp has tied up with MyGovIndia and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) to provide this service. One can also download the vaccination certificates from WhatsApp.

One has to follow some simple steps to book COVID-19 vaccine slot on WhatsApp. They are as follows:

Step 1: One has to add +91-9013151515 as a contact

Step 2: Then one has to send 'Book Slot' to this number on WhatsApp

Step 3: After this one has to enter the six digit OTP that one received via SMS

Step 4: Now, one has to choose one's preferred date, location, PIN code and vaccine type

Step 5: One will receive the confirmation

It must also be noted that if one is vaccinated, one can also download the COVID-19 vaccination certificate from the same helpline.

As per the data from MoHFW, so far 58.89 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
