But, one of the most exciting deals is on the other Samsung S series smartphone - the Samsung S9 which could be purchased for just Rs 14,400. The phone is originally priced at Rs 62,500.

As part of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, Samsung S9 price in India has been reduced to Rs 29,999. This is a massive Rs 32,501 discount on the device that was launched last year in India. The S9 was followed by this year's S10 series in the country. Apart from the discount, Flipkart is also offering an additional off of up to Rs 14,000 in exchange for your old smartphone.

This further brings down the effective price of Samsung S9 to Rs 15,999. Over and above that, Flipkart offers 10 per cent discount to customers who purchase it using ICICI Bank credit cards. The same discount can also be availed if the purchase is made using an Axis Bank debit or credit card. This means the price will further be reduced by Rs 1599, taking the effective cost to Rs 14,400. At this price point, the Samsung S9 remains a total steal even now.

However, the customers must know that they might not get the entire Rs 14,000 off in exchange for your old phone. The amount depends on the phone that you wish to get replaced. For example, in exchange for an OnePlus 5 you will get Rs 7,800 discount which is a handsome amount for a device that was launched more than two years ago.
