Samsung drops Galaxy Unpacked 2020 trailer, confirms five products including Fold 2, new buds

Samsung is set to host its annual Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. The company had already confirmed that it will be launching the new Galaxy Note 20 line up during the event. Now, in a new trailer, it has confirmed that as many as five products will be unveiled during the launch event including the next generation foldable smartphone and a new pair of Galaxy buds.

The trailer released on Monday night teases five products which are likely to be the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3. This year, there will be no physical event but the company will be recording a video inside the Samsung Digital City in Suwon, South Korea which will be streamed online.

During the event, Samsung is expected to launch the Note 20 line up in multiple variants. The one seen in the teaser video seems to be the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. As per the leaks so far, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is likely to sport a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 120Hz display with a centred punch hole and curved edges. The device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor and will feature Gorilla Glass protection on top.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will feature a 7.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display on the inside and a 6.23-inch display on the outside. It is likely to have five cameras: three on the back and one selfie camera on each display. It is being said that the sensors will be the same ones as seen in the Galaxy S20.

The company is also tipped to launch two tablets - the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+. Both of these are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live will come in a new bean-shaped design with active noise cancellation. Meanwhile, the new Galaxy watch is expected to include a lot of new features like an ECG monitor, a blood pressure sensor and activity tracking.
