Samsung Galaxy M31s with 64-megapixel camera, 6000 mAh battery to launch in India on July 30

Samsung is set to expand its Galaxy M line-up with the launch of Galaxy M31 in India on July 30. The South Korean electronics giant has released the official poster of the smartphone on Amazon India website, confirming the launch on July 30 afternoon.

The South Korean electronics giant has released the official poster of the smartphone on Amazon India website, confirming the launch on July 30 afternoon. The smartphone succeeds this year’s Samsung Galaxy M31. It features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary lens and a 6000 mAh battery.

The camera supports Samsung's Single Take feature that allows users to capture multiple photos and videos with just one take. The feature was previously seen on more expensive Samsung smartphones include the Galaxy S20 line up and Galaxy Z Flip.

The Samsung Galaxy M31s micro-site further reveals that the phone will house a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging as reverse charging. The company has been using the same battery pack on other Galaxy M series smartphones.

The upcoming Samsung phone is also confirmed to come with an AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution. The poster also confirms a hole-punch cutout at the centre unlike the waterdrop-notch on the vanilla Galaxy M31. The poster further teases the phone in While-Blue gradient colour.

The smartphone is also expected to come with Exynos 9611 SoC and is likely to go on sale in the first week of August.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy M31 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity U display with a 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by Exynos 9611 processor found on several other Samsung smartphones as well. The smartphone runs on Samsung One UI that is based on Android 10.

The Galaxy M31 has a quad rear camera setup that might include a 64 MP primary sensor, 8 MP wide-angle camera, 5 MP depth camera, and a 5 MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 32 MP camera for selfies.
