Samsung Galaxy M41 to launch with a massive 6800 mAh battery? Here is what we know

And, while we have seen the 6000 mAh battery on the Galaxy M30s and Galaxy M31, the company is set to push boundaries and drop a smartphone with a massive 6800 mAh battery. The smartphone is likely to be Samsung Galaxy M41 – a device that was recently spotted on a certification website.

With this, Galaxy M41 could pack the biggest battery in a smartphone till date. We have seen this size batteries in tablets before. The information has leaked after the Galaxy M41 was spotted on the 3C certification website.

The listing reveals that Ningde Amperex Technology Limited will be the manufacturer of the battery. An image of the battery was also leaked online which shows that it would be huge as compared to other battery packs. This means that the smartphone could be heavier than expected.

Other leaks in the past that have suggested that Galaxy M41 will reportedly feature a 64-megapixel camera and be powered by an Exynos 9630 processor.

The smartphone would succeed Galaxy M31 in the Indian market. To recall, the smartphone features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity U display with a 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resultion. It is powered by Exynos 9611 processor found on several other Samsung smartphones as well. The smartphone runs on Samsung One UI that is based on Android 10.

The Galaxy M31 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64 MP primary sensor, 8 MP wide-angle camera, 5 MP depth camera, and a 5 MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 32 MP camera for selfies.

The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its 6,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back and a Type C port for charging.
