WhatsApp is most-downloaded app in 2018; Check out top apps that caught users' fancy
With more than 779 million downloads between iOS and Android, WhatsApp is the most downloaded app of 2018 followed by casual game Helix Jump with more than 334 million installs.
Uber
According to Apptopia's most downloaded apps of 2018 list, Uber tops in more than one category and Wish app has been downloaded more than Amazon. Although Uber is originally a personal cab booking company the company has the most downloads in its food-and-drink category with Uber Eats.

Voodoo
And with 1.2 billion downloads, Voodoo is at the top of mobile games publisher globally, this year.

Tinder
Tinder takes the cake in the dating app followed by Badoo. Tinder has been downloaded 55 per cent times more than Badoo whereas, Badoo has been downloaded 55 per cent times more than happn, which grabbed the third slot.

Spotify
According to Apptopia, Spotify with more than 111.3 million downloads has taken the first position in audio and music and YouTube holds the second slot. Again Amazon Music holds the tenth-most-downloaded music app slot.

In the social media category, although Facebook still holds its first slot, it's other apps like WhatsApp and Messenger and Messenger Lite are in the top ten slots.

Swiggy, Zomato
The most- download food and drinks apps are dominated by Zomato, Swiggy, both are Indian brands again iFood and Rappi from Brazil are holding their positions.
