Stock market today: At close, both indices were down over 0.50 per cent. The S&P BSE Sensex ended 388.4 points, or 0.59 per cent lower at 65,151.02, while the NSE Nifty slipped 99.75 points, or 0.51 per cent to 19,365.25.
Buzzing stock: The stock rallied as much as 6.37 per cent to hit a record high level.

Stock Market: Vigorous action was seen in the stock market. With weakness, the open market closed in the green mark. BSE Sensex climbed 79 points to close at 65,401. The index also touched an intraday low of 64,821. Similarly, Nifty has also closed at 19,413. Please tell that on the occasion of Independence Day, it will be closed on Tuesday (August 15).
