Currently, when a user logs on to public WiFi, he/she has to log in and authenticate the process every time with a change in location. These hotspots will be set up at airports, major localities, market areas, malls and other locations.

With Kollam in south India becoming Wi-Fi-enabled, railways have completed the task of equipping 100 stations with free Wi-Fi service across the country by the end of 2016. The next move is to cover 400 major stations with free Wi-Fi by next year.
