Gold Price: There has been a slight decline in the price of gold on the spot on Monday. The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is falling by Rs 40 to around Rs 60,070 and the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 55,070.

Spot gold was up 0.4% at $1,766.59 per ounce, as of 0309 GMT. On Tuesday, bullion rose to a near one-month high of $1,787.79 before closing down 0.6% on the day. Whereas Spot silver fell 0.2% to $19.91 per ounce. U.S. gold futures slipped 0.5% to $1,780.80 per ounce, said Reuters.

On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts were trading higher by 0.13 percent at Rs 51,370 for 10 grams while silver was also trading higher by 1.03% percent to Rs 58,214 a kilogram at 12:30 pm on Friday.
