Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has recently emphasized upon using the latest technique to transform the face of Indian Railways. A senior railway official reportedly stated that Obots will be used to track any peculiarity in the catering operations, and added that if a chef is not wearing the proper uniform, the system will track that and notify it to the server. The information will send the report to the mobile of the concerned contractor immediately and if the issue is not addressed within 15 minutes, it will be reported to IRCTC authorities concerned, the official said.

IRCTC Tatkal ticket booking: Indian Railways unit Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced fresh Tatkal ticket booking rules recently. Tatkal tickets are available are targetted at those passengers who want to travel on an urgent basis.
As the travellers' interest has been given priority, the IRCTC helps passenger to claim complete refund of fare and Tatkal charges if a train is more than three hours late, and they can also claim a full refund if their train’s route is diverted and passengers do not want to travel on that route.
