The BSE Sensex dipped 318 points and closed at 38,897 levels while the 50-stock Nifty nosedived 90 points and closed at 11,596 levels. Bank Nifty index lost the 30,500 support levels and closed at 304 losing 30,430 points.
Yes Bank share price has witnessed a serious correction of over 15% on Thursday, a day after reporting its first quarter results. Though the shares of private lender fell around 20% in the morning trade, touching Rs 79.15 on NSE (52 week low). The sentiment for the scrip is negative due to a YoY plunge in net profits by 91% in Q1 of FY19-20.
Stock market analyst Simi Bhaumik said that Nifty immediate support is 11,600-11650, and it may see 11,750 level in one-two days. On YES Bank, she said this share may not fall further and the investors who want to stay invested for longer time may gain.
BSE Sensex lost 71 points but retained the psychological 39,000 levels while the Nifty 50 index dipped 28 points to 11,658 levels. The Bank Nifty index ticked 12 points lower to 30,719 levels.

On a quarterly basis, Yes Bank Q1FY20 PAT result comes as good news because the bank had net loss of Rs 1,506.64 crore in Q4FY19 due to higher provisions.

Markets ended flat on Thursday with gains being capped by banking and auto stocks. Weak global cues and rising retail inflation, too, contributed to a lackluster trade. The S&P BSE Sensex ended 15 points, or 0.04 per cent, lower at 39,741 levels dragged by select blue-chip counters like IndusInd Bank, Reliance Industries, YES Bank and Infosys. While PowerGrid and M&M were the top gainers, YES Bank and IndusInd slipped the most.
The BSE Sensex ended 15 points lower at 39,741 while the 50-stock Nifty closed 7 points higher at 11,914 levels. Testing the resistance at 31,000 the index bank Nifty closed 10 points up at 30,976 levels.
Stock market experts are of the opinion that both Yes Bank and the Jet Airways are showing bearing trend in coming times and shows no signs of recovery in near term. So, its better to exit from these stocks and invest in some other stock. However, they have suggested investors to hold Texmaco Rail till it sustains above Rs 65/stock levels.
