After an outstanding performance at the box office, Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra's movie 12th Fail is all set to make its digital debut on OTT platforms. The film, which was released on October 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, was sent as an independent nomination for Oscars 2024. However, the Bollywood film, based on UPSC applicants, did not make the Oscar shortlist.

The wait is finally over. Disney+ Hotstar earlier posted, “If there is one movie you must watch before 2024 starts, this one has to be it!" The OTT platform revealed that the movie would start streaming on December 29 while posting with #12thFailOnHotstar on X (formerly Twitter).

According to Sacnilk, the film, which cost roughly Rs 20 crore, has earned Rs 66.5 crore globally in its 52-day theatrical run.
