Dunki Box Office Collection Day 2: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dunki' hit the box office on Thursday, December 21. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is Shah Rukh's third and last release of 2023 after 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'.

But, the film failed to start off on the same note as Khan's two blockbusters did at the box office. The comedy-drama witnessed a decline on the second day (compared to its opening day collection) and barely managed to cross Rs 20 crore at the box office.

Despite its two-day collection of around Rs 50 crore, the film has failed to achieve the opening day collection of Prabhas-starrer 'Salaar', which earned Rs 95 crore across all languages.

As per trade tracker Sacnilk, Khan's latest release managed to earn only Rs 20.5 crore on Day 2 (Friday, December 22) which took the total collection to Rs 49.7 crore. While on Day 1 Thursday (December 21), it performed better and collected over Rs 29.2 crore at the domestic box office.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is Shah Rukh's third and last release of 2023 after 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'. The comedy-drama film is based on an illegal immigration technique 'donkey flight' and also features actress Taapsee Pannu.
