Animal Box Office collection, film nears Rs 900 core mark

Animal was released on December 1 and continues to rake at the box office in both India and worldwide. 'Animal' was one of the most-anticipated films of 2023. The movie opened to a tremendous response at the box office, making it one of the biggest Bollywood films of 2023 after 'Pathaan', 'Gadar 2', and 'Jawan'. At the global box office, 'Animal' has collected Rs. 800 crore within 16 days of its release, the film's makers announced on Sunday.

Animal', helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, also stars Rashmika Mandana, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri. It showcases a story about a father-son relationship, played by Anil and Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir's character is protective and obsessive about his father's love, and he is seen threatening everybody who comes in the way of his love for his father.

The 3-hour, 21-minute-long film was released in 5 languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal focuses on a strained father-son relationship against the backdrop of crime and the underworld. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri in significant roles.
