Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz: ISRO launches quiz for students to honour India's space exploration journey; winner to get Rs 1 lakh

Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz: In an attempt to cash in on the growing popularity of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, the central government on Tuesday (September 5) launched Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz to honour India's space exploration journey. In a post on X, ISRO said, "@mygovindia has organised Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz honouring India's amazing space exploration journey, to explore the wonders of the moon, and to demonstrate our love of science and discovery. All Indian Citizens are invited to take the Quiz at https://isroquiz.mygov.in."

What is Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz?

The website link that Indian Space Research Organisation shared takes you to a dedicated website for the ISRO quiz.

The quiz is for students only, who can participate in it to win exciting prizes with the top award being Rs 1 lakh. The quiz has 10 questions, and its duration is 300 seconds.

What are the Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz prizes?

The quiz website says that the best performer will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000.

The second-best performer will be given a cash prize of Rs 75,000.

The third-best performer will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

The next hundred (100) best performers will be awarded a consolation prize of Rs 2,000 each.

The next two-hundred (200) best performers will be awarded a consolation prize of Rs 1,000 each.

PM Modi's message for Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz

The website also has a message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It reads, "I will request students to participate in Chandrayaan 3 mahaquiz which will help them to explore about country's lunar mission."

The website also has videos of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, and PM Modi's message to ISRO scientists after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on lunar surface on August 23.
