Google Doodle celebrates the birth anniversaries of greenhouse effect discoverer Eunice Newton Foote and Sudanese music trendsetter Asma Hamza
American scientist Eunice Newton Foote first discovered the greenhouse impact in 1856, but her work mostly remained unrecognised for over 100 years. On the other hand, Sudanese music icon Asma Hamza pursued her love for music though in Sudanese society women are not allowed to indulge in dance and music.
Google shared a special Doodle on Foote's ground-breaking discovery on the adverse effects of carbon dioxide and its role in global warming. (Credits: Google)
