NEET PG 2024 Exam Rescheduled Latest News: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced on that the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate examination for this year has been rescheduled.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Rescheduled Latest News: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced on Tuesday, November 9, that the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate examination for this year has been rescheduled. With this, the new examination date of the NEET PG 2024 exam is now July 7. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on March 3.

"In supersession of NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023 and pursuant to the receipt of NMC letter dated January 3, 2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 examination, which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on March 3, 2024, stands rescheduled," the NBEMS said in a notice.

"The NEET-PG 2024 shall now be conducted on July 7, 2024," it added.

Also, the cut-off date for eligibility for the exam this year is August 15.

According to the recently notified "Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023", the existing NEET-PG examination will continue till the proposed National Exit Test (NExT) becomes operational for the purpose of PG admission.

What is NEET PG?

The NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG diploma courses under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019.

NEET PG 2024: Exam Date

The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct NEET-PG 2024 on computer-based platform on July 7, 2024, at various examination centres across the country.

Once the National Board of Examination will release the NEET PG 2024 online registration and application date, interested candidates can apply by following the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website - https://natboard.edu.in or https://nbe.edu.in
Step 2: Click on NEET PG available on the homepage
Step 3: Now click on the Application Link for NEET-PG 2024
Step 4: Enter the login credentials and fill in the NEET PG application form
Step 5: Verify details and submit the form
Step 6: Download the form and save it for future reference.
