Gujarat Election 2022 Result Date: BJP vs AAP vs Congress - Exit polls on Zee News Monday predicted a big majority for the BJP in Gujarat, indicating re-election of the ruling party in the western state.

The second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections covering 93 seats across 14 districts of north and central regions was held on December 5 (Monday).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Aam Aadmi Party's chief ministerial candidate Isudan Gadhvi and Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Sukhram Rathva were among those who cast votes. Voting began at 8 am across 14,975 polling stations.

According to the Zee News BARC exit poll on Gujarat elections, the BJP was likely to get 110-125 seats, Congress 45-60, AAP 1-5 and others 0-4.

Gujarat Election 2022 Phase 2 key stats

1) BJP and Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP are contesting in all the 93 seats.

2) Congress is contesting in 90 seats and its alliance partner Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has fielded two candidates.

3) Among other parties, the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) has fielded 12 candidates and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) 44.

4) The Gujarat Assembly has a total of 182 seats.

5) Voting in 89 seats was held on December 1
