ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule: As we move into the new year 2024, the International Council of Cricket (ICC) on Friday, January 5, announced the schedule of the high-octane ICC Men's T20 World Cup. A total of 20 teams have qualified for the tournament, which starts on June 1. The USA and the West Indies will co-host the 29-day tournament.

The tournament will kick off with the first match to be played between co-host USA and Canada in Dallas. The blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for June 9 in New York.

The 20 teams have been divided into four groups, with five sides in each group. The top two teams from each group will qualify for Super Eights, and the top two teams from each group will proceed to the semi-finals.

This is the very first time 20 teams will be participating, and it will also feature the African nation of Uganda, which has qualified for the first time in any ICC World Cup.

A total of 55 matches will be played across nine venues, with six stadiums located in the West Indies and the rest in the USA. Super Eight matches, along with the knockout stage, will be played in the West Indies.

The semi-finals will be played in Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday, June 26, and Thursday, June 27, respectively. The final will take place at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday, June 29.
