India already won three matches out of the four played against Australia in the series, sealing the deal in the 4th T20I on Friday in Raipur. India won the match by 20 runs, courtesy of a brilliant bowling performance by bowling all-rounder Axar Patel.

After losing the toss for the third time in a row, India was asked to bat first by the Aussies. India had a good start courtesy of openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad. However, Australia made a comeback as they took three wickets in quick succession, cornering the Indian batters. However, courtesy of some heavy hitting from both Rinku Singh (46 off 29) and Jitesh Sharma (35 off 19), India posted a target of 175 runs in 20 overs, losing nine wickets in the process. For Australia, pacer Ben Dwarshuis picked up three wickets, while spinner Tanveer Sangha and pacer Jason Behrendorff picked up two each.

Travis Head got Australia off to a strong start in the second inning. But with wickets falling in crucial moments, India made a great comeback. Aussie skipper Matthew Wade tried to keep Australia alive, but with wickets falling continuously, they could not reach the target. India won the match by 20 runs. Axar Patel picked up three wickets for India, giving away just 16 runs in his four overs. Pacer Deepak Chahar also picked up two wickets.
