Gold and silver prices are under pressure due to the strong dollar index. Gold fell below $1,960 in the global market. Gold fell below Rs 59,850 per 10 grams on MCX, while silver fell near Rs 71,000 per kg on MCX. The prices of base metals fell in the global market. Copper tumbled to a 7-month low. Crude oil fell 1.5%.
