Asian shares dip as Wall Street slides on weak corporate results

Asian shares fell on Friday as Wall street’s record highs were broken on the back of weak corporate results.
S&P 500 futures closed at 2,165.17 points down 7.85 points or 0.36%.
MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was down 0.1% but is still headed for a 0.4% gain on the week, Reuters story reported.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading down 0.89% at 16,660.01 points.
The Hang Seng index in China was trading at 21,916.52 points, down 0.38% at 8:25 am IST.
While SGX Nifty edged up 0.02% in early trade on Friday.
U.S. crude was down 0.2% at $44.67 a barrel, while benchmark Brent was trading down 0.01% at $46.20 a barrel.
