The Income Tax Department on Tuesday conducted “surveys” at the Delhi and Mumbai offices of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as part of an investigation into alleged tax evasion. According to sources, the phones of employees have been seized. Employees have also been asked to leave the office and go home early.
