Russian President Vladimir Putin praised PM Modi during a visit to Kaliningrad University on January 25. President Putin said that India is progressing under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He praised India, PM Modi for following an independent foreign policy keeping in mind its national interest. President Putin also lauded 'Make in India' initiative and said, Russia is further looking forward to make huge investments. Earlier on Jan 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with President Putin.
