India vs England 5th Test 2021: India will take on England for the fifth and the final test of the five-match series at Old Trafford, Manchester from today, September 10, 2021. India is leading the series 2-1, after their marvellous win at the Oval in the fourth test match. It has to be noted that on Sunday, before the start of the day 4 of the fourth test, as per an ANI report, the BCCI said that its medical team has isolated Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun, Sridhar and physio Nitin Patel. This step was taken as a precautionary measure after head coach Ravi Shastri's lateral flow test returned positive the previous evening.

At present, India is leading the five-match test series 2-1. The first match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham ended in a draw. India registered a historic win in the second test at Lord's where the visitors won the match by 151 runs. England won the third test by an innings and 76 runs at Headingley, Leeds.
