Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and S&P BSE Sensex opened flat with negative bias on Thursday. The Nifty started Thursday's session at 17,417.30, while the Sensex opened at 58,363.93.
Benchmark indices Nifty50 and S&P BSE Sensex erased opening gains to close on negative note on Wednesday. Both the indices shed 0.50% during the yesterday's closing.

The second largest online travel agency (OTA) in India, has plunged by about 30 per cent from its high of Rs 717 on the BSE recorded on 17 September, but the recent price action suggests that the long term trend remains intact.

Bears took control of stock markets as benchmark indices, Nifty50 and Sensex, slipped over 2 per cent each, while the Bank Nifty slumped over 800 points.
Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and S&P BSE Sensex corrected nearly 2 per cent each in the afternoon trade on Monday after Reliance Industries tanked over 4 per cent in the early trade.
Elecon Engineering Ltd has risen more than 300 per cent so far in 2021 compared to 27 per cent rise seen in the Nifty50 in the same period. However, based on technical indicators and the momentum in the stock, the rally may not be over yet.
