Buying LPG Cylinder? Alert! You must do this first or suffer loss
LPG cylinders are a must now in every household. However, there is one big problem that everyone should beware of as otherwise chances of a gas leak and a cylinder blast go high.
The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has an objective to provide an LPG Gas Cylinder in each and every household, especially in the remote parts of India. In urban India, even though many have started using PNG-connection for their cooking purposes, a huge number of people use LPG cylinders. So, both in the urban and rural parts of India people depend heavily on these LPG cylinders. However, when your LPG cylinder is empty and you are getting it replaced, you must do something critically important - you need to check its expiry date before allowing it inside your home. Yes, that is right. The reason for that is because your LPG cylinder has an expiry date and an expired cylinder can be dangerous to you and your household.
Notably, you should know that your LPG connection provides insurance to the family and the household in case there is an accident caused by some problems in the gas cylinder. However, if the LPG cylinder that caused the disaster was an expired one, then the company will deny your compensation or insurance or both. So, you must check the expiry of the LPG cylinder during LPG replacement process.
