With the help of this app, Mumbaikars will be informed 6-72 hours in advance of the city's condition in monsoon. BMC will share this information with the people of the city through its predictive analysis using various types of data. BMC claims that the app will inform from 6 hours to three days in advance which road can be waterlogged at what time.
The country's largest municipal corporation said this app will use IMD's data as well as local data to give a predictive analysis of an area. How is the drainage of that area, infrastructure, or how much population there is? - like data will be used. With this, people will get information about weather, high tide, high-speed storms, rain conditions, and waterlogging. BMC hopes that with this app, people can plan their road travel.
If there is a problem of waterlogging in any area, then BMC claims that it will immediately send a team and take action. At the same time, with the help of app, social media, and the Mumbai Police, the public will be informed about the condition of road blockages and heavy monsoon.
