While they are mostly mixed, some have gone ahead and heavily criticised Aamir Khan and company, calling it a wasted opportunity! This itself will balloon the collection considerably. While Aamir is not very happy about Thugs of Hindostan ticket prices being hiked, the reality on the ground is that they are very much pricey and fans will have to pay through their noses to watch it. Last, but not least, is the fact that there is no newly released rival movie in theaters at the moment to hurt Thugs.

While most reports are playing safe and saying Thugs of Hindostan collection will add up to Rs 300 cr in lifetime, but Aamir Khan would definitely be looking to break Baahubali's massive record of over Rs 500 cr! While movie critics may not be all okay with this latest Aamir Khan release, there is no doubt that the iconic actor has a massive fan base to power his film and to that can be added the ones from Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.
