Gujarat Election Phase 2 Date Seats, Districts, Exit Poll, Result Date: The stage is set for polling in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly election 2022. As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India, polling in phase will take place on December 5 across 93 seats.
In the phase 1 polling that took place across 89 seats on December 1, a voter turnout of 63.14 per cent was recorded. In the 2017 Assembly election, the voter turnout in the first phase covering the same 89 constituencies stood at 66.75 per cent.

Gujarat Election Exit Poll 2022 Result
The Election Commission of India has banned the exit polls before the completion of the polling exercise. As per the rule, the exit poll will be aired on TV channels only after the polling exercise ends. Accordingly, TV channels will telecast the Gujarat exit polls on December 5 evening after the second phase of polling ends.
Gujarat Election 2022 Result Date
As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India, the counting of votes in Gujarat will take place on December 8. The counting process will start at 8 AM and the results will be declared later in the day.
Gujarat Election 2017 dates, phases, winners
In 2017, the Assembly election in Gujarat took place in two phases. While polling in the first phase took place on December 9, the second phase polling took place on December 14.
The results were announced on December 17.
The Bharatiya Janata Party retained the powers in the state. The party won 99 seats in the 182-member Legislative Assembly. A political party or an alliance needs 92 seats to form the government in the western state.
