Cumin: Nowadays the prices of cumin are touching the sky. Its rate is currently running at Rs 51,500 per quintal. However, a couple of months ago the prices had reached Rs 49,000. But after that a slight decline was recorded and the price had reached Rs.48,420. At the same time, the markets have started booming again. Some main reasons are being given for this. First reason, there is a lot of demand for Indian cumin abroad. Secondly, the stock of cumin has reduced in the country. That's why due to lack of supply according to the demand, the rate of cumin is touching new heights day by day. Apart from this, the new consignment of cumin has been affected due to heavy rains and hailstorm in Rajasthan during the month of March-April. A jump in its price is being seen due to decrease in arrivals in the mandis.
